Cisco VLAN, VTP (VLAN Trunking Protocol) Configuration & Troubleshooting
In this tutorial, I have demonstrated another important and yet basic core concept for any Cisco network deployment and reachability.
· Creating VLAN, VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) Configuration and troubleshooting.
VTP is a Cisco proprietary protocol used to reduce and manage the administration in a switched network.
This is done through the redistribution of VLANs to all switches in the domain when the VLANs are created from the VTP Server.
There are 3 versions of VTP: V1, 2 and 3.
