SpaceX Falcon Heavy - Highlights
On Tuesday February 6, 2018 SpaceX launched its Falcon Heavy from the Apollo launchpad 39A at Cape Kennedy, Florida, USA. The world's highest capacity rocket was carrying a special dummy payload – Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster with the spacesuit-wearing mannequin nicknamed Starman who now is traveling through our solar system.
There are many videos of the launch but some are simply too long to watch and some are too short to show what matters. So I cut it to a version showing all the major events with the necessary length, yet not too long, so that you can enjoy it in few minutes – from the Liftoff to when the vehicle goes super sonic to the booster engine shut down and separation, the faring deploy with the Starman in his Tesla being set free for his journey to Mars to the booster landing and the final celebrations.

It was amazing. The guys at SpaceX are doing an excellent job, congratulations and a big thank-you to all of them and to Elon Musk. SpaceX makes space travel cool again and boldly goes where no Tesla has gone before. By the way, I loooooooved the Don't panic sign on the display!
