As New Jersey's science & technology university focused on applied research and home to one of the nation's top ranked schools of architecture, NJIT brings a wealth of information and expertise to the effort to rebuild our communities.
We are establishing a new program that will engage faculty, students and alumni in architecture, engineering, environmental science and other disciplines to design the next generation of homes, businesses and public buildings throughout New Jersey that will withstand future natural disasters. Sandy left a trail of devastation that New Jersey will long remember; we at NJIT intend to ensure that we recover quickly and build a better New Jersey for future generations.
