Yamazaki Distillery Whisky Tasting | Japan
Situated near Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara in the Kansai region of Japan, the Suntory Yamazaki Distillery is a must-visit location for fans of Japanese whisky. We made the trip to Yamazaki during our longer visit to Kyoto and were able to enjoy a variety of Yamazaki, Hibiki, and Hakashu whiskies, a component flight tasting, and some distillery exclusive blends.

ARRANGING A VISIT:
To visit this popular distillery, you must make a reservation in advance. Tours are in high demand with tickets distributed via a monthly lottery system, and even a reservation to visit the museum and tasting room must generally be made the day they become available.
