Why Is Good Friday Called "Good"?
Today is Good Friday...so for a day we commemorate what is in one sense the most tragic day in Christian history, why do we call it "good"? This is the day Jesus - the Lion of Judah - was slaughtered like a lamb. He was mocked, tortured, and killed. In this video I'm unpacking why as Christians we call the day of Jesus' crucifixion "good," and what is is we're TRULY celebrating on Good Friday. 🤍
