Our last room we designed in this house is the office. The office we really took many elements and combined them into one. The first element was the desk, the client asked that it is floating in front of the window to allow him to look out and the trees and birds. He also needed to maximize storage for all his books, so lots of asymmetrical but practical storage solutions were brought in. We layered cabinets on top of one another allowing the lines of each cabinet to go into the next and of course we brought in bronze tinted glass to offset all the flat panels.
Outlets were hidden inside the cabinets to allow him to have them when needed but to be completely hidden when not in use. We used two light sources on the tall glass cabinets to allow maximum illumination.
