Many logos and designs are received with kerning issues, and I had to do something to help you learn how to control this important aspect of typography... so let's say no more, let's say it!
In this video, I'll give you a series of tips to help you get started with kerning adjustment. I'll also explain what it is and why it was created. We'll do some examples of optical adjustment, and I'll explain how to use Illustrator and the Character, Line Spacing, and Tracking palette.
At the end of the video, we'll play a really cool game about kerning. This way, we'll begin to train our eyes to become kerning masters and ensure that kerning never becomes a headache again.
