Strategic Human Capital Spring Seminar Series: Firm Specificity
Firm-specificity is a foundational concept for human capital scholars since it has implications for mobility, appropriability, and competitive advantage. Recently, strategic human capital scholars have expanded our thinking to draw from, and re-examine, the foundations of firm-specificity and explore new directions for its characterization and implications. How has classic theory on firm-specificity changed? How might these changes shift the next decade of firm-specificity research? Experts David Kryscynski (Brigham Young U.) and Heli Wang (Singapore Management U.) will explore the recent developments in our thinking about firm-specificity and where this research may progress.
