[Screencast] Bug: random tab closures in Google Chrome (Ubuntu 19.04 + LXDE)
(Speaking of bugs, the source file for this video was only 04:03 in length. I have no idea why it repeats three times!)
I've been experiencing a strange bug on Google Chrome for about the past six months, although I've figured out workarounds for most of these services.
Services affected:
— Google Photos
— Google Contacts
— Google Photos
Behavior:
— Tabs close unexpectedly preventing the normal functionality of these services.
System:
OS: Ubuntu 19.04
Desktop environment: LXDE
Graphics driver: nvidia-driver-435 (open source)
Browser: Version 78.0.3904.97 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I've tried enabling and disabling hardware acceleration with no success.
All services work perfectly in Mozilla Firefox.
Any suggestions appreciated!
