Opening of the TUM Center for Functional Protein Assemblies
On the trail of tomorrow's biomedicine
A working culture across the boundaries of natural sciences, medicine and the engineering sciences, avant-garde technologies, and an inspiring space for new thinking in biological systems. This is what the new central institute "Center for Functional Protein Assemblies" (CPA) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) stands for. The new interdisciplinary research building, funded by the federal and state governments to the tune of 40 million euros, was opened on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
Auf den Spuren der Biomedizin von Morgen
Eine Arbeitskultur über die Grenzen von Naturwissenschaften, Medizin und den Ingenieurwissenschaften hinweg, avantgardistische Technologien, und ein inspirierender Raum für neues Denken in biologischen Systemen. Dafür steht das neue Zentralinstitut „Center for Functional Protein Assemblies“ (CPA) der Technischen Universität München (TUM). Der von Bund und Land in Höhe von 40 Mio. Euro geförderte, interdisziplinäre Forschungsneubau wurde am Dienstag, 11. Oktober 2022 eröffnet.
