Dance da Sabar Drums with SAF-SAP
Le N'Guewel SAF-SAP, is a West African tradionnal music group, featuring great experts of the sabar, saorouba and djembe drums and dances. Its founding members belong to the M'Bour, Senegal, KOUYATE family and are heir to an ancestral cultural and musical tradition and expertise that extends beyond the borders of Senegal and the Mande area to the outermost bounds of West Africa.

This recording was made on Nov. 18, 2006 at the "Tanz die Trommel" Festival in Essen, Germany. The band lined up two very special guests: star dancer SIMONE GOMIS & former Thione Seck band member & arranger, master drummer Moussé Pathé MBaye.
