Marco crashed about 11 minutes into the race. Sliding into Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. He died 45 minutes after he was found motionless. His helmet was ripped off during the accident.
Rest in Peace. Prayers to the family and friends of Marco. He was a great rider with a lot of character.
