So the lug nuts on my 2015 Tesla Model S have been a little distorted for a while and I decided it was finally time to do something about it.
What happens with these older stainless steel Tesla lug nuts is they get distorted and deformed when impact power/air tools are used to remove or install the lug nuts. The stainless that Tesla uses is a softer material than regular steel lug nuts.
The lug nuts that I bought to replace the factory soft Tesla nuts are in the links above. They are from Gorilla Automotive, part number 61147CX for chrome, and 61147BCX for black chrome.
