Review and Sound Test - IQ System 200T - High End
IQ System 200T speakers are pretty rare but in Germany they appear regular on the market for prices between 400 and 1500 euro, The best option in this series is the IQ System 300T (new price 10.000DM/pair) because of the bigger woofers, they are selling now between 1500 and 2200 euro. The TOTL the 500T was so expensive (36.000 DM) that probably just a few where sold and never appears for sale. If you have these speakers and you want to sell them it's not easy to find buyers for them because of the quite unknown brand name. If close to your house there is a pair for sale, just go and listen to them, you would be very surprised of these unique speakers.
The 200T is not the typical German sounding speaker, it is so well balanced that it's hard to find short comings. I never experienced a better stereo image as with these speakers. The voices of males and females sounds so clean and it's like they are singing live for you. If I could name 1 shortcoming it's the bass I wish they could hitting lower Hz but I am a bass freak and never satisfied with any speaker what do not hit below 30Hz, the bass itself is excellent, truly beautiful bass but I wish they could hitting lower notes. Because they are so well balanced it is, if you close your eyes/play them loud, the band is just in front of you playing live music, These IQ's are for some of you what you are looking for your whole live. I think that in combination with my 15 inch sub these speakers are very hard to beat but that test will come in the very near future.
