Qlik Now vs Localtime function: Bonus Today function
In Qlik (Sense and View), #Now() and #Localtime() give very similar results, but they are different from each other in certain ways. Both these functions give current time. #Now always returns GMT time, whereas #Localtime returns #location time. Some parameters in NOW() can be used to get different important time in #Qlik than current such as #lastrealodtime, #timebeforelast reload #usersession start time etc. where as Localtime() can be used to get server times or location time can help use case such as incremental load, IOT data etc.
