Braga is undergoing a revolutionary mobility project, ""Eu Já Passo Aqui"" (""I already pass here"") focused on making the city accessible for everyone by widening pavements, eliminating architectural barriers or creating raised zebra crossings. Collaborating with organisations like ACAPO - Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired of Portugal and APD - Portuguese Association of Persons with Disabilities, the municipality is addressing the unique needs of visually impaired and mobility-challenged individuals. Despite temporary disruptions from ongoing improvements, the city has set up kiosks at construction sites, using 3D images and maps to keep the public informed and counteract misinformation.
