Godot vs AI: Why They Just Said NO!
LLM have made it easier then ever to create code... no skill or knowledge required. While this is amazing for some people, for those running open source projects, especially those that are in charge of maintaining the code, it creates an absolute nightmare scenario. As a direct result, Godot have taken a rather drastic action... completely banning AI submissions. They aren't alone, plenty of other open source projects have taken a similar stance, such as Zig, which we also discuss in this video.
