Star Trails at a TOMB! | Astrophotography Vlog. In this episode I photograph Joel Parker Whitney's tomb. The tomb is in my home town of Rocklin, California! I briefly go over what makes this area of northern California so special and a brief background on Joel Parker Whitney. Afterwards, you'll see how I go about shooting blue hour photos and finding compositions for photographing star trails. The mosquitos were out and about, which ended the blue hour shoot short. I returned in the early hours of morning to photograph the star trails! At the end of the video I go over the final photos and talk about what camera settings worked on this shoot and what will change for my next astrophotography shoot.
