Since July 2022, the eye in space has been wide open, delivering information and spectacular images around the clock: The James Webb Telescope has taken space observation to a new level. After about a year, researchers had images of protostars and forming galaxies in their hands, and they were also able to gather information about exoplanets – data that will undoubtedly require several years of research. A look back at this exciting first phase.
