How to Count Cells with Text in Google Sheets
step 1: Navigate to https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
step 2:Click on a blank cell in the Sheet
step 3:Type =COUNTA(ENTER YOUR DATA RANGE HERE) In this example, the data range was A2:A39 or you can just highlight all of the cells you need to count
step 4: Click on the cells you need to count to specify the data range if you did not type it in the step before
step 5: Close your parentheses by typing ") enter"
step 6: Rejected autofill as we are trying to count the total number
step 7: You're finished!
