We install three types of wall claddings in this episode,
1/ Panel and channel, consisting of 3/4 inch sheets of PVC from Ply Gem, which are 4'x10' punctuated by custom channels, bent on a siding brake.
2/ Open-Joint cladding, which is basically deck boards spaced apart over a black WRB (InvisiWrap UV from Benjamin Obdyke)
3/ Vinyl siding from Variform. This is paired with exterior trim from Ply Gem, which really beats J-channel.
We walk you through how to install Variform siding, how to fix the water management—ahem, mistake—by the electrician, and how to bend a couple of the channel profiles.
