The Division - Lossless Scaling App Test [PC]
This test was done with the Lossless Scaling application available on Steam for $4.99. https://store.steampowered.com/app/99... I opened up the app, set the parameters appropriately. In my case I have a 1440p monitor and set the game to Windowed @ 720p, so that was Scale Factor set to 2, Force Scaling checked and AA checked.
You utilize the Hotkey of your choosing or the stock, which is ctrl+alt+s. This then set the game to fullscreen at 720p, scaled to 1440p. The benefit to this is obviously more FPS, for those whom may have a bigger monitor and want to achieve a smoother experience with those settings cranked.
I have only tested this with The Division so far, this video was the result of such. When I checked the properties of the video, it was recorded at 1440p, which is my desktop resolution and default game resolution. Yet the game was set to run for this test in 720p windowed, scaled to 1440 with the app.
