Emily O'Connor is a former stand out high school and college basketball student athlete who had to overcome TWO knee injuries during her college career. She describes her triumphs and setbacks as she navigated her journey through college.
Emily graduated from The Catholic University with a focus in marketing and sales. She talks at length about her experience as an athlete and how working through her injuries helped prepare her for her life in "the real world" after college.
Emily is currently a Sales Representative and Account Executive at Gipper, a tech start up company who specializes in creating graphics for social media, newsletters and more. Gipper helps Athletic Directors and coaches create content so they can better promote their programs on social media.
Emily explains that playing sports led her to her current job because of the competitive nature, fast-paced environment and the ability to collaborate with others on the team.
