Information on my gift card challenge
I wanted to do something that would help set me a head next year. So I thought of my two biggest expenses (outside of mortgage) groceries/household came in 1st place. Initially I was just going to do another cash challenge but then I thought about gift cards! Gift cards don’t expire and it was a way for me to discipline myself to make sure I reached my goal. Every time I get any money that’s 100.00 or more I buy a 25 dollar gift card. My goal right now is to save up at least 4-6 months worth. During that period the funds I would normally put towards groceries/household can be used towards debt or anything my family needs at that time. I hope some of you jump on board!
