The Car
This has to be one of the most cared-for Range Rovers on the road. It comes with full service history, it's had the timing chains replaced, a brand new air suspension compressor, and thousands more spent on preventative maintenance and care - including a complete gearbox oil super flush. The car sailed through the MOT this week as expected, with no advisories.
As you'll see from the photos, the interior is spotless and comes with Nappa leather seats which are heated throughout. The car boasts an impressive Harmon Kardon sound system, a centre console refrigerator and all of the luxuries you'd expect in a Range Rover - everything works as expected.
Built on the highly-successful Discovery chassis, the Range Rover combines motorway comfort with serious offroad capability.
The Look
The Range Rover has been entirely de-chromed, making this a true statement vehicle - it even has custom colour-matched side runners. You won't find another Range Rover quite like it.
The Overlander
The hard-shell roof tent is the Tuff Trek Overland Series MK2, bought six months ago for £3,200, and it sits on a custom Front Runner slimline rack, purchased at the same time for over £1,200. Both professionally installed by the Tuff Trek team, this is the most rugged roof tent setup money can buy. The kitchen and storage in the back has been custom-built from quality timber and bolts directly into the car. The back area features two slide-out work surfaces, an Alpicool 20l condensor refrigerator, two deep storage drawers, patio gas for appliances (adhering to all gas transport protocols), and access to the spare wheel winch. There's also plenty of storage under the cargo net.
As the car is expedition ready, it comes with a Jackery Explorer 500 solar generator, 120 watts of solar panels, a gas cooker, gas heater, gas water boiler, and plenty of additional camping equipment.
The kitchen area has been designed to allow for easy removal and storage when not in use. As it comes apart in two sections, removing the whole set-up only takes a few minutes and can be done by one person.
This has been a fantastic vehicle, and I'm sad to see her go. However, I know she has plenty of adventures ahead of her.
