Fran is directing Gracie's school play.
Season 1 Episode 12, 'The Show Must Go On'. Fran casts Gracie as the lead in the school play, but when Maxwell takes over as director Gracie gets overwhelmed and quits the play. Fran encourages her to overcome her fears and Gracie ends up performing! The play is a huge success.
