Living in a Base With No Walls for a Wipe
I survived an entire wipe without any walls on my base! Using hidden loot rooms, and building on the outskirts of the map, I managed to have one of the best wipes I've had in a while!

There are things on Rust bases that most people assume are essential to its construction. Walls. Of course, walls are obviously needed to enclose your loot and actually have a place to live. But, what if they weren’t. What if we could build a base, where the loot was safely secured away underneath the floor. It would be practically as strong as any other 2x2 base, just, wouldn’t provide the safety of having somewhere to hide when enemies were in the area. However, to be successful with this base design, we would have to do our best to stay undiscovered. The best way to do this, is by building on the outskirts of the map, away from any areas of interest. This wouldn’t be a fool proof way to not get found, as we will find out, but, it’s the best we have.
The only aim in Rust is to survive. Everything wants you to die - the island’s wildlife and other inhabitants, the environment, other survivors. Do whatever it takes to last another night.
