Amidst this chilling atmosphere, Ayub and Fatima face a crisis: their fuel reserves are completely depleted. They lack enough oil to light the stove, leaving their home without heat.
Ayub has been suffering from severe, debilitating back pain for days, making it impossible for him to fetch fuel. Seeing their plight, a kind neighbor from the adjacent garden comes to their aid. In a selfless act of support, the neighbor attempts to transport Ayub’s oil quota from the city as a favor to the couple. However, the journey takes an unfortunate turn. After traveling the majority of the distance, the neighbor’s car suffers a breakdown, rendering him unable to reach the garden to deliver the precious fuel.
Despite his physical agony, Ayub demonstrates immense resilience. After the neighbor calls to explain the situation, Ayub journeys to the city on foot to meet him. Although the neighbor could not appear in the garden, he traversed most of the way before his vehicle failed. Ayub gratefully collects half of the oil quota and completes the journey back himself. Both Fatima and Ayub are overwhelmed with gratitude for the neighbor’s immense kindness and effort. Ultimately, they secure the fuel needed to reignite their stove and restore warmth to their home once again.
