Faith Declaration For A Godly Wife.
Holy Father, You said that it is not good for a man to be alone. (Genesis 2:18)
Therefore I come to You now, asking for my help meet-a prudent wife from the Lord (Proverbs 19:14).
She is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh (Genesis 2:23); for Your Word says that the woman was created for the man (1 Corinthians 11:9) and is the glory of the man (1 Corinthians 11:7).
I thank You for a wife who is like a fruitful vine by the sides of our house (Psalms 128:3), and we replenish the earth and have dominion over it according to Your Word (Genesis 1:28).
O Lord my God, You said that a virtuous woman is a crown to her husband (Proverbs 12:4). Therefore I come to You now, praising You for a wife who does me good, and not evil, all the days of her life (Proverbs 31:12).
She works willingly with her hands (Proverbs 31:13), and strength and honor are her clothing (Proverbs 31:25).
She stretches out her hands to the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:20).
She opens her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue, is the law of kindness (Proverbs 31:26).
I thank You for a wife who looks well to the ways of our household and does not eat the bread of idleness (Proverbs 31:27).
And because she fears You (Proverbs 31:30), Lord our children call her blessed and I praise her according to Your Word (Proverbs 31:28).
Abba Father, You said that every wise woman builds her house (Proverbs 14:1) and a gracious woman retains honor (Proverbs 11:16).
Therefore I come to You now, thanking You for a Holy woman who trusts in You and has a meek and quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:4).
Jesus is the Head of me (1 Corinthians 11:3), therefore my wife is subject unto me. Her desire is towards me and she submits herself unto me, as unto the Lord. (Ephesians 5:22).
I thank You for a faithful wife who reverences me (1 Timothy 3:11) and gives me honor according to Your Word (Ephesians 5:33, Esther 1:20).
God Most High, You said that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor of the Lord (Proverbs 18:22).
Therefore I come to You now, vowing that my wife and I are one flesh
I cleave unto her for as long as we both live (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31).
According to Your Word, I decree and declare that whom God has joined together, no man puts asunder (Mark 10:9, Matthew 19:6).
I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen
