UPDATE: Mist AIOps Stays Put in HPE–Juniper Networks Deal
Following the July 2nd closing of HPE’s acquisition of Juniper Networks, company leaders clarified that the DOJ-required license for Juniper’s AIOps for Mist is not a divestiture or transfer of intellectual property. It is strictly a license for use and support, limited only to the AIOps portion. The core technology, talent, and innovation behind Mist remain in-house, and while integration plans are still evolving, the platform is expected to play a key role in the combined networking business moving forward.
