Maybe He's Not So Bad
I love little Dragon Ball Z fan comics that have Trunks and Piccolo interact more than they did in the main story, there's a lot of fun little moments they can have together - especially in bonding over the passing down of techniques and training styles from master to student and then to yet another student.
Not to mention the tragedy of Future Gohan more than likely weighing heavily on Piccolo, knowing there was nothing more he could've done for Trunks' future counterpart.
