The technology for constructing a blind area is quite simple and straightforward. There are two types: a soft blind area and a hard concrete blind area.
The soft blind area pie is quite simple and can be made by hand.
A layer of sand approximately 10 cm thick before compaction.
The main thing is to avoid slippage.
What can I use instead of a vibrating plate? I compacted it with a truck.
Is it possible to not insulate the blind area? Of course.
Currently, such a membrane costs 5,300 rubles.
Anyone can install it. The membrane is lightweight, flexible, and durable.
Our wall is 6 meters 60 centimeters long, so I cut it in half at 10-meter lengths. For the foundation offsets, I used 2-meter sections.
As a result, we ended up with a unique water drain.
Which, given the existing gutters on the roof, isn't really necessary. A drainage pipe isn't necessary either, and I don't see the point in insulating it with foam plastic.
If you want to bury your money, go ahead. For our house, this foam plastic will cost 20,000 rubles, which is useless.
We're laying geotextile, 300 density, for 160 rubles per square meter.
