Watermark on Title Page: Everyone knows The Great Wave image of Hokusai with Mt. Fuji. The watermark depicts the central section of the original. Over his long life (1760‐1849), Hokusai explored the limits of skill and subject matter while unifying his most famous work as celebrations of Mt. Fuji.
