Calc 12 Chp 7.1 (2018) - Integral as Net Change
There is not much new here. If we take the definite integral of an interval, that is the net change of the measurement. So find the definite integral of velocity wrt time, that is the displacement over that interval. If we do the absolute value of the integrand, then it is the distance travelled over that interval.
