\Method 1/
① Create a table categorized by item
② Select the range of product names
③ Name the table using the "Name Box" in the upper left corner
④ Select the range of types
⑤ Open Data Validation (Data tab → Data Validation)
*If using shortcut keys, use "Alt → A → V → V"
⑥ Set the input value type to "List"
⑦ Select the type cell as the source
⑧ Press OK
⑨ Select the product range
⑩ Set the input value type to "List"
⑪ Enter "INDIRECT (first cell of type)" as the source
⑫ Press OK
\Method 2/
① Create a table categorized by item
② Select the entire table (Ctrl + A)
③ Select the range and open Define Name (Ctrl + Shift + F3)
④ Check only the top row
⑤ Press OK
⑥ Repeat steps ④ through ⑫ of Method 1
