Introduction to Microservices by Yuriy Didukh (Ukr)
Microservices are currently getting a lot of attention: articles, blogs, discussions on social media, and conference presentations. At the same time, there are skeptics in the software community who dismiss microservices as nothing new.
In this talk, we will discuss what Microservices Architecture is, how and when better to use it. We will also dive in history to remember such concepts as SOA and Unix pipes in order to find commons and differences of these solutions. Also, we will go through the good and bad sides of the Microservices Architecture pattern and discuss where the use of microservices would give us benefits.
