Guidelines for Using Fit to Tally
Imp**Tally Version should be Tally.ERP 9 Release 6.6.2 or above
1. Export the I mport Basic Ledgers from Navigation Bar when you create new Company.
2. If Other than Basic Ledgers are there then Create Ledger before dumping excel data to Tally.
3. Using Excel Templates put all records(data) to respective templates(Purchase,Sale,Item-Wise,Bank Statement etc)
4. In Excel Template Date field should be in this “YYYYMMDD” format .
5. The date should be entered in the text formatted column. While importing.
6. After Entering the data in given template formats please delete the empty Rows and columns Else error will occur.
7. In Purchase or Sales first initializes the ledgers because if a new ledger is there automatically ledger will be created
8. After Initializing ledgers next step export the ledgers.
9. While Creating Company Base Currency information number of Decimal places should be taken Care(If Its 2 decimal then while in templates all values must be in 2 decimal .If it’s in 3 decimal places then while in templates all values must be in 3 decimal .)
