What will you learn?
This video tutorial focuses on Native Modals. There are two kinds of modals:
1. Native Modals are used when you do not need to customize the modal message.
2. Custom Modals are used when you need to customize the modal message.
So, how do you add a modal? Simply, search for a modal in the element list and drag it into your web project. Alternatively, you can add a modal from the Pages tab in the Menu. Click the Manage Menus Gear icon and navigate to the Modal option. Then, click on the Add Modal button to add a modal to your project.
For modal visibility, ensure that your Layer List is active so that you can easily hide/show your modals whilst working on your web projects with the eye icon. Additionally, it is important to remember to rename your modal as this is useful when it comes to mapping.
To do this, navigate to the layer list and right-click on the modal you want to rename. The sub-menu displays and you will be able to select the Rename option. The Tag Name window will open, go ahead and type in your modal name and click the check icon.
