On Tuesday 6th October Professor Chris Roe joined the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre Online to deliver a talk on Recent Developments in Parapsychological research.
A research centre for the scientific investigation of claims of the paranormal was established at the University of Northampton in 2000. 2020 represents their 20 year anniversary. In that time the centre has grown steadily so that it now consists of 10 academic staff and 10 postgraduate research students who are engaged in a wide range of projects that reflect the breadth of topics and research methods to be found in contemporary parapsychology. In this presentation, Professor Chris Roe will pick out some highlights of that research effort and draw some conclusions concerning what it might tell us about human capabilities.
