DIESEL BASTION Mühldorf: Traffic at the Burgkirchen Chem Park | Alex E
The Mühldorf rail network is one of the few transport networks in Germany that offers significant freight and locomotive-hauled passenger service WITHOUT overhead lines.
In this video, I visited the Burgkirchen Chemical Park and the adjacent Gendorf and Kastl depots of the Südostbayernbahn (Southeast Bavarian Railway). I witnessed two freight trains, several locomotive-hauled train journeys, and the operation of the works locomotive at the Chemical Park.
