First, open the "Settings" app on your Android device. Scroll down and tap on "Apps & notifications" or simply "Apps" depending on your Android version. Next, find and select the Facebook app from the list. Once you're in the Facebook app settings, tap on "Disable." This will stop the app from running and remove it from your app drawer, but it won't delete the app from your device.
Disabling the Facebook app will also prevent it from using background data, which can help improve your device's performance and extend battery life. If you ever want to re-enable the app, you can simply go back to the same settings and tap "Enable."
