トレーニングで Jay Graydon のソロアルバム「Airplay For The Planet」より〝Walk the Wire〟を叩いてみました。Joseph Williams の透き通るような美しいヴォーカルが気持ちいい。

打ち込みのシンセベースにどれだけ寄り添えるか、マシーン vs ヒューマン みたいなところはあるけど、人間らしい揺れと、オリジナルとは違った自分なりのフィルインやオーケストレーションを加えて味を出してみました。
曲中で２枚のフラットライドを使用してシンバルのコントラストをつけてみました。
iPhone で録画。バランス的に音源に対してドラムが少し大きいです。
ヘッドフォン、イヤフォン環境を推奨します。

I played "Walk the Wire" from Jay Graydon's solo album "Airplay For The Planet" for training. Joseph Williams's beautiful, crystal clear vocals are great.
Used drums minus one track
No click
It's a bit of a machine vs. human thing, but I added some human-like swaying and my own fills and orchestrations that are different from the original to create some flavor.
I used two flat rides in the song to create some cymbal contrast.
The sound source was played and recorded on an iPhone. In terms of balance, the drums are a little louder than the sound source.
I recommend listening with earphones or headphones 🎧
