Hydrates Beautifully But Rather Pricey
If you’re looking for a truly hydrating toner, Total Toner from ALLEVEN is a winner. As a long-time K-beauty fan, I go through toner really fast because I like to apply multiple layers during cold or windy weather. During my testing period, the weather was 100+ degrees every day, so I only needed one layer of Total Toner and appreciated that it allowed me to skip a hydrating serum or even moisturizer during the daytime.
It has a lovely citrus scent and makes my skin feel a bit firmer immediately. As a professional beauty writer, I was surprised by the ingredient list, which contains a number of extracts I haven’t experienced in skincare before – all of which enhance hydration.
Closing Thoughts: Even though I’ve enjoyed using this toner, it isn’t something I would purchase because of its high price tag. $35 per ounce is even higher than my favorite premium Korean toner (Sulwhasoo Timetreasure). I like the size of this bottle, though, so I’ll probably use it in my travel bag until it runs out. If you have the means and have dry skin, this is worth a try.
