How to add prefix in Power Query
#powerquerytutorial #exceltips #powerquery
Do you still add text manually to every cell in Excel? 😅
In this video I show you how to use Power Query to add a text prefix (for example "10") in front of all values in a column – in just a few clicks.

We start from a simple table with columns ID, Product, Code and transform it so that every code becomes 10A01, 10B15, etc. This trick is perfect when you work with large datasets and want to clean or standardize your data quickly.

🔧 In this video you’ll see:

💡 Great for:

Anyone who works with Excel reports

People who want to automate repetitive text changes

Beginners who are just starting with Power Query
