Adding a shine to buttons makes a huge difference. The idea is to make it seem like it's a piece of glass! In this video I show the simplest way to achieve such effect. The shortcuts used were: CTRL+D (to deselect), CTRL+SHIFT+I (to select inverse) and the Delete button to delete.
