Debian 13, codenamed "Trixie," is the latest stable release of the popular Linux distribution. Here's what's new:

Key Features
Linux Kernel 6.12 LTS: Provides new and updated drivers for modern hardware support, with security updates until December 2026.
RISC-V 64-bit Architecture Support: Officially supports the RISC-V architecture, allowing users to run Debian on 64-bit RISC-V computers.
APT 3.0: The default package manager, offering a refined and intuitive interface.
Desktop Environments: Includes GNOME 48, KDE Plasma 6.3, LXDE 13, LXQt 2.1.0, and Xfce 4.20.

Security Enhancements
Stronger Security Features: Introduces security hardening against ROP and COP/JOP attacks on AMD64 and ARM64 systems.
