Steps:
remove the battery;
unscrew the screw and open the case;
remove the motherboard;
remove the display from the motherboard and clean the contacts;
solder/glue the ribbon cable to the new LCD with a soldering iron (temperature ≈100/200°C);
position the LCD in place and solder/glue the ribbon cable to the motherboard;
reassemble in reverse order;
check the key fob.
Done.
