Thermogravimetry (TGA) provides quantitative information on the composition and thermal stability of many different types of materials.
Besides the sample mass, the TGA/DSC simultaneously measures the heat flow of the sample. This enables the instrument to detect thermal events that are not accompanied by a change in mass, such as melting, glass transitions and solid-solid transitions.
The TGA includes a top-of-the-line METTLER TOLEDO ultra-micro balance with unique built-in calibration weights which ensures unbeatable accuracy.
