CSharp is an amazing language that started with Microsoft's attempt to beat Java, which in turn once made a breakthrough, but then became mired in conservatism.
And by C# 5, the language had many amazing things that Java so lacked. It was obvious from the development of the language that these things were laid down from the very first version, it was just decided to enter the market without them.
After which a period of stability in the language came. Almost every experienced developer knew the language completely. There were almost no secret places in the syntax that would surprise.
But at some point, after switching to .NET Core philosophy, when the compiler was rewritten and the new brilliant Roslyn was rolled out, the language began to develop as if it were undermined. Going open source allowed the language development team to better understand its audience, and the audience got its own platform where they could talk about their pains.
But hasn't the C# of 2022 and who knows what version has turned from a continuation of the author's integral work into some kind of crazy fan fiction? ... And after all, if it is very difficult to cut out an API from a popular library, then it is almost impossible to cut out the syntax from a popular language!
