Thank You in Blue
Our YMCA sign has been changed from white to blue to honor the essential workers keeping us safe during this crisis. Across our emergency child care centers, the children are thanking their parents and other essential workers in their own way.
In the first six weeks since the closure of schools, the YMCA of Greater Boston's dedicated employees cared for over 237 children of essential workers from 60 companies for a total of 22,680 hours, caring for their children because they care for us.
